About us

leafbabies.com is a website dedicated to the love of plants and gardening. You could say gardening sort of grew on us… Mom always had plants around the house and pretty annual and vegetable gardens when we were kids. It wasn’t until we had a home of our own that we started getting interested in the landscape and its really only recently become a passion.
The term leaf baby came to us while tending to our indoor garden, paying particular attention to some fresh sprouts and seedlings. We love all our plants indoors and out and they give back so many rewards.
One of the biggest rewards we get from our plants are their seeds. So many seeds we can’t plant them all. Which is where this site comes in. We really want to see our seeds become big strong plants so badly, we thought that the best way would be find and share them with like minded individuals like you! So, sign up, and ask for some.

What is leafbabies.com

leafbabies.com is a growing community for gardening enthusiasts. Join our forum to cross pollinate ideas and discussions with your gardener pals!

There are only a small number of rules.

1) Be kind - There are no stupid questions or ugly plants and some people may not be as skilled at using search. Even if a question or comment is re-posted, people might be looking for a friend, not an answer. Flaming and Trolling will not be tolerated.

2) LEGAL PLANTS AND PRODUCTS ONLY PLEASE! While it seems so odd to make a plant illegal (all they ever did was grow) we would like to make sure this site isn't sprayed down with weed killer by the government. So please do not discuss growing controlled or illegal substances.

Legal stuff only

Let's get one thing straight. This site will not be associated with illegal substances or discussions around them. We don't judge, but the law (at least for now) still does. Quite honestly, we don't want to get in trouble for or lose our website. Even if certain plants may be legal or decriminalized in your state or region of the world, they're not everywhere. So, if you post about it in the forum, we'll likely delete your post. If you keep doing it, we will probably ban your account. So just don't, okay?
